Open the Bottle Night

Do you have a bottle of wine you have been saving for that special occasion? I do and I’ll guess you do too, but I never find an occasion that’s quite right. With this in mind the wine writers of the Wall Street Journal started “Open That Bottle Night”. For the past 8 years they have encouraged their readers to open those special bottles on February 24th.  This year we’d like to be involved so we’re inviting you to come here on Saturday Feb 24th , bring a bottle that you have been saving and enjoy it.

We will have a special communal table you can reserve seats at in advance.  You can share your bottle with your neighbors and hope they will share their bottle with you. We will offer plenty of glasses. We will not charge a corkage fee that night. We invite you to bring a bottle you have been saving, maybe two just in case one is too old. Share it with your friends and make some new friends who also have some special wines.

Cupid's Kiss Cocktail Cocktail

Here is Joel’s recipe for a special Valentine’s Day cocktail; 4-5 ozs of sparkling wine, 1 oz of Grand Marnier and an ounce of cranberry juice. Serve in a stem glass with a sugar rim.

KMPH Great Day

The Vineyard was the featured business on KMPH Channel 26 Great Day Show recently. Other than getting here @ 4AM the show was a lot of fun to do. Clint, the baker, showed how we make our baked apples and Hector did a very professional job preparing our pork loin stuffed with figs. Mike Gish who does financial news on the show was very complimentary. Mike and his wife Peggy have been regular customers for 20 or more years. I was amazed how many of you commented on seeing the show. I didn’t know that many people were up at that time of day.

Again thank you for your business. We look forward to seeing you.
