Bruschetta

TOMATOES' NIGHT OUT

on September 16, 2010, Slow Food Madera is once again holding one of its most successful and fun events, The This dinner will feature organic heirloom tomatoes from premier grower John Texiera. We will whip up a 4-course meal using tomatoes in every dish. Before the dinner, there will be a tomato tasting so you can savor several of these unusual tomatoes. Tickets are available from BrownPaperTickets.com, or by calling them at 800-838-3006 and asking for Tomatoes' Night Out.

FIG FEAST 2010

The 2010 Fig Fest was a huge success, with over 1,500 people attending this event at CSUF. The Fig Feast that night was held here at the Vineyard. The Fig Feast is a fig-based dinner sponsored by the California Fig Advisory Board. The first one was held at the Vineyard in 1999, and we are much honored to have had it here again. Following is the menu from that night.

Did you know that most blue cheeses and soy products often contain some gluten? Neither did I. We went through our menu item by item and put together a menu without any gluten ingredients.
